City of West Lafayette, Indiana
Believe it or not, the time is coming for the heat to subside, and the beautiful fall weather to take its place. As we West Siders know, fall is the time for school to resume. For us that includes the usual increase in population, traffic and all that goes with it. Additionally it brings the opportunity for us to watch our State Champs - the West Lafayette football team and the Purdue University football team take to the field and continue their winning traditions!
Wonderful outdoor recreational opportunities are always a popular choice, and now with the addition of our new urban trail system which includes the West Lafayette track, the entire city is connected with incredible exploration possibilities. So, I extend a hearty "WELCOME" to all of our new residents and encourage everyone to enjoy all that West Lafayette has to offer.
Mayor John Dennis
